Learn euphonium from a teacher who’s taken students to the top.

Since 2008, I’ve taught over 1,000 euphonium students, primarily 6th through 12th grade (USA). I’m confident I can help you grow, wherever you are in your musical journey.

STELLAR MUSIC SCHOOL ACCEPTANCE RATE

Students who recently pursued college-level music studies after high school graduation:

University of Texas (Dr. Charles Villarrubia)
Butler School of Music · Miguel Gonzales
University of Houston (Dr. Kevin Fenske)
Moores School of Music · Keaton Berry & Clarke Kanzig
University of North Texas (Dr. David Childs)
UNT College of Music · Hayden Drew

The majority of my students go on to do something other than music as adults. Many get involved in adult ensembles and continue to create music the way they want to. Most report their lives are better off for their time spent learning together. For me, such long-term gains in quality of life are more important than any individual achievement or award.

Absolutely. The majority of my students over the years started out as beginners. I teach beginner-level through early college-level. Adult learners are welcome too.

Your instrument. A modern device (smartphone, tablet, PC, or laptop) with a camera and microphone. Headphones or earbuds. And a quiet room. I’ll help you set up your audio before your first lesson.

We’ll aim for a regular weekly time that fits your schedule. Weekday afternoons/evenings and Sundays are usually wide open. Periodic attendance, complicated schedules, and absences for holidays, vacations, or illness are all handled on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing up front. After each lesson, I send a PayPal invoice. Easy to use, with durable records generated automatically.
